You have found the House while its halls are still being carved. I ask of you the two gifts every builder needs: faith, and patience. We are redesigning these rooms so that every Name will stand in a house worthy of it — not quickly, but rightly.

On the third of October, the doors of the Archive open, and the Names we keep will stand in the Light for every eye. Until that day, your Number holds your place, the Journal is already yours, and the House writes when something is worthy of your eyes. What we build, we build to last — be patient with us for a season. It is dutiful and sacred, this thing we do.
