Every steward of this house carries the mark — the candle and the scroll.
The card bears your name, your member number, and your free purse. It is issued
free, to all, the day you join, and it costs nothing to hold. If you wish to
carry it in the world, the house will make it physical.
Looking is free. The card takes your name the moment you hold an account.
The Steward’s Circle
Those who carry the house outward share in what they carry.
Ten percent — one Seal set aside for you for every
Seal someone you brought entrusts to the house.

Your door. Give this to the
families you love. Everyone who enters the house by it is written to your circle.
Drawing it. Your Seals stand in the Circle
until you draw them. The door opens at 100 Seals — ten dollars — and
the house arranges every draw by hand.
The one law. Never carry this to the grieving.
No sharing into funerals, obituaries, grief groups, or to the freshly bereaved. A Steward
who targets grief loses the title and the door, and that door does not reopen.
What the card carries.
Your name as you gave it. Your member number — your standing in the house's
register. Your free purse number, if this device holds a purse — the vessel
your Seals live in.
What the card never carries.
Your purse key. The key stays with you alone — the house never prints it,
on this card or anywhere.
